Task Force Sponsors Shredding Day Events |
|
|
The Northland Community Council (NCC) and the NABA
State Route 161 Task Force were co-sponsors of the a
Northland Community Shredding Day on Saturday, May 19, 2008.
Fireproof Records Center, Fifth Third Bank and Ink Well
Printing partnered with NCC, the Task Force and the
Columbus Division of Police to present this event. NCC
sponsored two very successful Shredding Day events, in May and again
in October, in both 2006 and 2007. In addition to providing
local residents the opportunity to shred confidential materials free
of charge, Shredding Day events call attention to
the growing problem of identity theft. If your business is interested in participating in the next Shredding Day event, by providing volunteers to help staff the event and/or by providing information to visitors on products or services that help address identity theft, please email events@naba161taskforce.org for more information. |
