Task Force Sponsors Shredding Day Events and Food Drive

The Northland Community Council (NCC) and the NABA State Route 161 Task Force co-sponsored the semi-annual Northland Community Shredding Day on Saturday, December 6, 2008.  Fireproof Records Center, Columbus Square Shopping Center and Ink Well Printing partnered with NCC, the Task Force and the Columbus Division of Police to present this event.  The organizations previously sponsored five very successful Shredding Day events: in March and October 2006, May and October 2007, and another in May 2008.

In addition to providing local residents the opportunity to shred confidential materials free of charge, Shredding Day events call attention to the growing problem of identity theft.  The December 2008 event also included a Food Drive to benefit Mid-Ohio Foodbank.

If your business is interested in participating in the next Shredding Day event, by providing volunteers to help staff the event and/or by providing information to visitors on products or services that help address identity theft, please email events@naba161taskforce.org for more information.

Hadler Invests in Columbus Square and SR-161

The Hadler Companies, owner of the Columbus Square Shopping Center at SR-161 and Cleveland Avenue, has been making significant investments over the past two years in the property, including improvements to parking lots, lighting, landscaping and security.  As an "anchor" property on the East Dublin Granville Road corridor and home to over 60 business tenants, we applaud Hadler Companies for recognizing, and demonstrating to other area businesses, the value of investment in the corridor and the Columbus Square property, and their importance to the Northland community.

Hadler Companies publishes a newsletter for business tenants at Columbus Square. Click to view recent editions: Columbus Square In The News.
